1982 Fender Japan JV ST57-65 Stratocaster

We present a very early and much sought after Fender JV ST57 Stratocaster from April of 1982! This has to be one of the earliest examples, as Fender Japan started producing in March of 82. It is in very good condition and shows a lot of signs of use, which is not surprising as this is such an excellent guitar! Everything is original apart from the strap pins which have been changed to black locking Schaller pins. The tremolo cover on the back of the body is missing as well as the tremolo arm. This guitar has so much mojo and is on par with that of the original run of USA Fender instruments from the late 50s and early 60s, and truly has to be played to be appreciated. There are a few small marks on the back of the neck mainly around the 4nd fret, which can hardly be felt, and there is a small patch of missing finish on the edge of the fretboard at the 3rd fret. There are also quite a few knocks and dings to the body throughout, and around the headstock too. We have given this guitar a full check over, the trussrod and electronics all work perfectly. Included is a hardcase.
